Update on 2021 Open Enrollment

In 2020, our large group health plan is through Cigna. In 2021, we will be using United Health Care (UHC).  We had the first open enrollment webinar on Friday December 4, 2020 and you can view this video below.

If you would like to enroll in the plans effective 2/1/2021 or on the first day of any month thereafter, the deadline to submit those enrollment forms is 15 days prior to the planned effective date.

Note: These plans only apply to the 48 states in the Continental U.S. (does not include residents of Alaska, Hawaii or other countries).

For more information, please download the information below and review the webinar first.  For more information about CBR, visit https://cbri.com/ .

If you haven't done so already, please register as a member of ExecAA (no charge) or sign up for our mailing list below, so you'll be notified of other upcoming open enrollment meetings.

 Q. Where can I find out if a doctor or medical facility is in the network?

A. Go to www.myuhc.com, then click on Find a Doctor. Note: if you are asked if you are a current UHC member or Just shoppng around, click on "Shopping Around." Then select Medical Directory. Then Select All UnitedHealthCare Plans.  If you are looking at a Choice Plan, select Choice. If it's a Charter plan, select Charter.

Q. Do these plans apply to Hawaii and/or Alaska or to other non-U.S. countries?

A. No.  These plans apply to only the 48 continental U.S. states...and some apply only to the state of Texas (these will be clearly marked in the details).

Q. Is there any cost to join the American Association of Executive (ExecAA.com)?

A. No. Basic membership is no cost.

Q. Do I need to be an Executive to qualify to join ExecAA?

A. Yes, any Business Owner, CEO or other C-Suite Executive, Consultant or other executive can join ExecAA at no cost and be eligible to enroll in the health insurance plans.

Q. At the top of the application it asks for Group Name, Group Number, and employment information.  How should I answer these questions?

A. That section will be filled out by the American Association of Executives, so you can leave it blank.  The application is normally used for an employer/employee relationship, but in our case, this is an Association with Members.

Q. If I have enrolled in the UHC insurance through ExecAA, where do I get information related to any claims, providers, to print a copy of my ID card, etc?

A. Register or login at www.myuhc.com or call member services at 1-800-357-0978.
